ANNs are modeled after the structure of the human brain and consist of layers of interconnected nodes that process and transmit information. DL has proven to be extremely effective in areas such as image and speech recognition, natural language processing, and robotics.
To summarize, AI is the overarching field of study that seeks to create intelligent machines, while ML is a specific technique used to enable machines to learn from data.
